  1. Do you put paint under liquid clear and then use the white paint to bring out the color under the liquid clear? OR- do you put the liquid clear on and then the color and then use the white paint to bring out the other color you put on? Please help me with this and THANK YOU..

    • after painting black gesso on the canvas let it dry then scrub in the transparent color on the canvas, then pick up some titanium white on a brush and start applying it onto the canvas to bring out the color…OR after painting the canvas with black gesso allow it to dry then using a small amount of liquid clear apply it to the canvas then using a small amount of color to paint the landscape the liquid clear will allow the color to move on the canvas without difficulty as for the saying “wet on wet” technique…try it both ways and see which way you like the best..
